NAME:BETTER KNOWN AS REGENTS PARK MOSQUE.

When was it built.
Proposals for building a London mosque were put forward in the 1920s. The 2.3 acre site,Which today serves a wide community of Muslims from different ethnicity's and backgrouns,Was built in the mid 70s.
The centre plays its part in helping Muslims to learn and understand their religion though a variety of dawah activities. It also plays a big role in guiding many people to islam.
It has many facilities.
Womans prayer area,nursery,weekend school,halls,marriage and divorce servise,islamic seminars and courses,cateen,libaray,book shop.
It truely is a wounderful place to visit and if you are luckey enought to pray there marsha-Allah. My husband takes me to get all my islamic books their and i want to join the libaray on my next vist

I love this mosque. I took my shahada there and i try to get there as much as i can when i am in london.
There is such a relaxed environment there and the book shop is great. Also there is a resturant inside so no need to have to leave to go and get some food. You can easily spend the whole day there (and a whole weeks wages in the shop lol)
If you have never been there you must try to get there.
Any sisters who plan on going then let me know and InshaAllah we could all meet up. I know sister julie and myself are planning to meet up there real soon so it would be great if other sisters could join us.
